Wascomat Soap Tray Part Numbers: How to Find the Right Kit

Ordering the wrong soap tray kit for your Wascomat washer is a common and frustrating mistake. The issue: Wascomat Gen 6 and Gen 7 machines look nearly identical from the outside, but their soap dispensers use different part numbers. Here's how to make sure you order the right one.

Gen 6 vs Gen 7: What Changed

Wascomat (now under the Electrolux Professional umbrella) updated the soap dispenser design between Gen 6 and Gen 7 models. The tray dimensions, compartment layout, and mounting mechanism are all slightly different. A Gen 6 liner won't fit a Gen 7 tray, and vice versa.

How to Identify Your Generation

Check the model plate on your machine — it's usually on the inside of the door frame or on the back panel. Look for the model number. Gen 6 machines typically have model numbers starting with W600 or W600CC series. Gen 7 machines use W700 or similar designations. If you're unsure, your Wascomat distributor can confirm the generation from the serial number.

The Part Numbers

The soap dispenser assembly for Gen 6 is part #432240101. For Gen 7, it's #472995401. When ordering soap tray kits or replacement liners, you'll need to specify which generation you have. Any accessory designed for Wascomat should clearly state Gen 6, Gen 7, or both.

Mixed Fleets

Many laundromats running Wascomat machines have a mix of Gen 6 and Gen 7 units — especially if machines were purchased over several years. Before ordering soap tray kits in bulk, count how many of each generation you have. Order the right quantity of each to avoid returns and wasted time.

Electrolux Compatibility

Electrolux Professional commercial washers use the same soap tray designs as Wascomat. If you have Electrolux machines, the same Gen 6/Gen 7 identification process applies. The part numbers and kits are interchangeable between the two brands.
