How to Set Up a Speed Queen Soap Tray Label Kit in Under 5 Minutes

The Speed Queen soap tray label kit is designed for fast installation across your entire fleet. Most operators finish a single machine in under 5 minutes — and the whole laundromat in an afternoon.

What's in the Kit

Each kit includes color-coded soap tray liners and bilingual (English/Spanish) labels for detergent, fabric softener, and bleach compartments. The liners are custom-molded to fit Speed Queen and Huebsch front-load commercial washers.

Step 1: Open the Soap Tray

Pull out the soap dispenser tray completely. On Speed Queen front-loaders, this is a simple pull — no tools required. Set it on a flat surface.

Step 2: Clean the Tray

Wipe down the tray with a damp cloth. Remove any detergent residue or buildup. This ensures the liner sits flat and the labels adhere properly. For heavy buildup, use warm water and a brush.

Step 3: Drop in the Liner

Place the color-coded liner into the tray. It's designed to fit snugly without adhesive — just drop it in. The colors match the label system: each compartment is visually distinct so customers know exactly where to pour.

Step 4: Apply the Labels

Peel and stick the bilingual labels onto the front of the tray or the machine panel above the tray. Position them where customers will see them before pouring. The labels use simple icons alongside English and Spanish text.

Step 5: Slide the Tray Back In

Push the tray back into the machine. Open and close it once to make sure everything sits properly. Done.

Fleet Rollout Tip

If you're outfitting 20+ machines, set up an assembly-line process. Pull all trays, clean them in a batch, then install liners and labels in sequence. Most operators can outfit a full fleet of 30 machines in 2-3 hours.
