How to install your Dexter soap tray kit

Fits Dexter T-300, T-350 Express, T-400, T-450 Express and T-600 washers.

Before you start

  • Time: 3–4 minutes per machine.
  • You need: isopropyl alcohol, a clean rag, and a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Install at closing. The machine stays out of service overnight while the tape bonds.

Steps

1. Open

Turn off power to the machine. Remove the 4 screws around the dispenser and lift off the top. Keep the screws.

2. Clean

Wipe the soap tray rim and the underside of the lid with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely.

3. Liner

Set the liner in the tray and tuck all 6 tabs under the rubber gasket so it sits flat. The liner has no tape. The gasket holds it in place.

4. Label

Peel the tape backings and stick the label inside the lid with its two holes over the two posts on the lid. With the lid open, the text must read right-side up.

5. Press hard

Press firmly along the label's tape strips. The bond comes from pressure, not just contact.

6. Close and wait

Reinstall the top and all 4 screws. Keep the machine out of service overnight. The tape reaches about 90% strength at 24 hours and full strength at 72 hours.

Important

  • Hot water limit: keep your hot water supply at or below 158°F (70°C). Hotter water can warp the liner over time.
  • Parts may stick together from packing. Separate them gently. It doesn't affect the install.

3. Inserto

Coloque el inserto de colores en la bandeja y meta las 6 pestañas por debajo del empaque de goma para que quede plano. El inserto no lleva cinta; el empaque lo sostiene.

4. Etiqueta

Retire el papel protector de las cintas y pegue la etiqueta dentro de la tapa, con sus dos orificios sobre los dos postes de la tapa. Con la tapa abierta, el texto debe leerse al derecho.

5. Presione fuerte

Presione con firmeza a lo largo de las cintas de la etiqueta. La adherencia depende de la presión.

6. Cerrar y esperar

Vuelva a colocar la cubierta y los 4 tornillos. Deje la máquina fuera de servicio toda la noche. La cinta alcanza cerca del 90% de su fuerza a las 24 horas y el 100% a las 72 horas.

Importante

  • Límite de agua caliente: mantenga el suministro de agua caliente a 158°F (70°C) o menos. El agua más caliente puede deformar el inserto con el tiempo.
  • Las piezas pueden venir pegadas por el empaque. Sepárelas con cuidado. No afecta la instalación.
